Cuvette Collective is a team of Ph.D.-level science educators and creatives who partner with Principal/Senior Investigators to maximize the broader impacts of their research through 1οΈβ£ strategic industrial/community partnerships, 2οΈβ£ impactful educational content, and 3οΈβ£ Trainee-driven professional development.
We've supported several leading experts in STEM research from an incredible variety of institutions.

Strategic Partnerships
Typically, a research center hires staff members at varying full-time equivalents (FTEs) to manage their broader impacts. This creates two key problems:
- NSF-funded research centers sunset, creating temporary positions and instability for those hired for the role.
- Searching for the "unicorn" staff member who has experience conducting scientific research, interfacing with industry partnerships and intellectual property, expertise in informal science communication, and postdoc/graduate/undergraduate student mentorship in STEM.
- A diverse group of Ph.D.-level experts in STEM education, outreach, & evaluation,
- Established connections with national STEM education and outreach networks (e.g., ACS, Science Olympiad),
- Experience in facilitating product/customer discovery and patenting, and
- Scalable support that can evolve with a center's needs.

Impactful Educational Content
As the workload of research scientists expands, their bandwidth for outreach and communication beyond research articles constricts.
Science with Impact is hosted by Vanessa Rosa, Ph.D., who is dedicated to connecting everyday life and stories to recent advancements in scientific research.
Known for engaging interviews with impactful scientists, Dr. Rosa speaks to researchers and STEM enthusiasts eager to explore how science shapes society. She founded the Cuvette Collective, a team of scientists and creatives, to help research scientists measure and communicate the broader impacts of their work.
