Here's why:

It involves setting a timer for 25 minutes of focused work, then taking a 5-minute break, repeating this three times, and then taking a longer 15-minute break.

It takes me a little while, but once I start working, I focus deeply and lose track of time (some call this hyperfocus, others call it flow). Switching from work to break time quickly leaves me feeling stressed. 😤

BUT, the Pomodoro Technique is helpful because it reminds me to take breaks (otherwise, I would work myself to exhaustion).

So, doing 100 minutes of focused work with a 30-minute break works better.

✨Both add up to 130 minutes, but I can do much more with the alternative approach. ✨
